Payment Methods
Full payment must be made at the time of registering for registration and accommodation. Visa and Mastercard are the only accepted credit cards for payment.
QUT Staff: Please note you cannot use your QUT Corporate Card to pay registration fees. Please complete the registration process, and select the QUT Staff payment option. You will then be prompted to enter the journal account code for payment.
Full Conference Registration
Member, Non-member and Student Full Conference Registration includes:
- Access to all conference sessions, including: Keynote, Paper, Poster, Demo and Pictorial Presentations and the DIS 2016 Creative Works Exhibition
- All scheduled tea breaks and lunches from 6-8 June 2016
- Conference Welcome Reception on Sunday 5 June 2016
- DIS 2016 Experience Night on Monday 6 June 2016
- Conference Dinner on Tuesday 7 June 2016
- A digital copy of the conference proceedings
The registration does not include:
- Pre-conference workshops on 4-5 June 2016

Day Registration

DIS Experience Pass Registration
Member, Non-member and Student DIS Experience Pass Registration includes:
- Access to the DIS Experience Night on Monday 6 June 2016, where participants will have an opportunity to visit and experience the demos, posters, and creative works exhibition.
Conference Cancellation Policy
Registration cancellations will not be accepted unless made in writing to the Event Manager, by email dis2016@qut.edu.au.
Cancellations received up until Monday, 16 May 2016, will be refunded less 25% for administration fees (please note if you have not paid you will still be invoiced for this amount). No registration refunds will be made after this date. Full cancellation fees will also apply to non-paid accounts after this date.
As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person in your organisation, if advised in writing no later than 48 hours prior to the commencement of the Conference.
Accommodation Cancellation Policies
Accommodation cancellations (for those hotels part of the DIS 2016 block booking) will not be accepted unless made in writing to the Event Manager, by email dis2016@qut.edu.au.
Amendments or cancellations will not be accepted after Thursday, 5 May 2016.
